• USP - United States Pharmacopeia Worldwide standards for medicines, dietary supplements, and food additives. Unfortunately, virtually all useful information from this site requires a hefty fee (such as $395 / year per publication.) Capitalism may be good, but there's something to be said for publicly supported services such as the National Library of Medicine — such as being able to do research on topics that the Market does not now perceive as valuable. Alternately, we could rouse our lazy butts out of our computer chairs, and see if some of this stuff is physically available at our local central library; for me, that would be the Boston Public Library, a fine public service in its own right.
