Aura goggles can sometimes be found at auction online, or at curio or occult shops. Here is a list of the major types, with as much information as is currently known.
Boddington's Kilnascrene, and J.J. Williamson's Aura Goggles are certainly the best functioning, and therefore most important, aura goggles that can be found extant today.

- Goggle active element: pinacyanol bromide in gelatin, as documented in operating instructions.
- Evidence from spectrophotometric scans suggests that actual colorant is mixture of pinacyanol bromide and methylene blue, at least for extant pair circa 1957.
