            Hello, and welcome to the Gogglist_pub email list. This list is
for discussions and announcements concerning aura goggles, and was created
to handle the increasing number of requests for information regarding the
same.  Thank you for your interest.  The volume on the list may not be
large, but I think it will be stimulating.

 

            A bit of background.  I am Shamash, or Tom Beauchamp-Arnold.
I've lived in Boston over thirty years.  During much of that time, I've been
an active member of, and am now High Priest of, a Wiccan coven called Coven
of the Chthonioi.  More about that is on orderofganymede.or
<http://orderofganymede.org/> g, if you are interested.  Over two years ago,
I created the primummobile.org <http://primummobile.org/>  website in order
to facilitate research into all aspects of aura goggles, with the ultimate
goal of recreating authentic, working aura goggles, and offering them for
sale again, if possible.

 

            A number of people who have contacted me through the website
have proved to be durable and valuable collaborators.  In many ways, my
discussions with them have enabled me to make a number of advances recently
that would have been very difficult otherwise.  It is because of these
advances that I am at the point with a new aura goggle design where I am
working on getting boxes made;  I have working prototypes, a solid (I think)
design, suppliers for all materials, materials on hand for the initial
build, manufacturing methods set, etc., etc.  

 

            Of course, getting through those last few details takes longer
than one thinks initially.  I thought I'd be fully ready by Jan 1, but I am
getting closer.  I hope to be able to make an announcement concerning
availability within a few weeks.

 

            There're a lot of issues to discuss, including what an aura
might be, and why aura goggles do or do not work.  I plan on writing up
little pieces on these and other topics periodically, as I think they are
important, and that there is a lot of misunderstanding, and outright
misinformation routinely circulated.  A number of the people on this list
will have their own opinions on many topics.  I welcome healthy discussion.

 

            If anyone has particular questions, please send them to the
list, and I will try my best to answer them. 

 

            I have configured the list so that only  list members have
access to the list archives.  The membership list is only available to the
administrator.  You can sign off the list anytime you like by following the
link at the bottom of every email.  You can request access to the list by
